Marcellus

Marcus Claudius Marcellus, consul 51 BC and opponent of Caesar, who lived in dignified exile at Mytilene until pardoned in 46 BC (the occasion of Cicero's Pro Marcello). Distinct from Augustus's nephew of the same name.
